The case is currently being investigated as a potential abduction, according to Newburgh Heights Police Chief John T. Majoy. The authorities issued an Amber Alert for Keshaun following his disappearance on June 17, and efforts to locate him are ongoing. Family members, who have been desperately trying to reach him, have been unable to establish contact, as his phone goes straight to voicemail.
The Disappearance
On the night of his disappearance, Keshaun last contacted his mother, Sherice Snowden, informing her that he was about to return home from the party around 10:30 p.m. Since then, there has been no sign or communication from him. At a news conference held at the Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults, Snowden expressed her concern, highlighting that it is highly unusual for Keshaun to be away from home for such an extended period, as they maintain regular communication and share a close relationship.
Snowden revealed that there were no noticeable changes in Keshaun’s behavior on the day of the party. They had even shared breakfast together, and she had braided his hair. However, she was unaware of the party’s location, as Keshaun had not provided any details.
Describing Keshaun as charismatic, intelligent, and dedicated, Snowden mentioned that he spends his free time working at a church and excels academically. The community has shown tremendous support in searching for Keshaun, emphasizing his popularity and respected presence among locals.
Investigation and Appeal for Information
Although Keshaun was last seen at the end of the party, he got separated from his friends and was left behind, according to Snowden. The details of what transpired after the party remain hazy, prompting the need for more precise information regarding attendees and the subsequent events.
Keshaun’s appearance at the time of his disappearance was described as wearing a black shirt, black jogging pants, gray and red Jordan sneakers, with shaved sides of his head and braids in the back. He stands at a height of 5 feet 7 inches and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
The authorities have offered a reward of $1,500 for anyone who can provide information leading to Keshaun’s safe return. Individuals with relevant information are urged to contact the Cleveland Police Department.
